What's for dinner?

We all have our guilty food pleasures. In the wintertime, mine is to buy a box of clementines and eat as many as possible in one sitting. This often happens on days like today when I get home late from the office. To top the "meal" off, I treat myself to yet another form of pre-packaged treat, like chocolate. Today I broke open one of many Balisto bars, kindly sent to me from a friend in Munich - enough to sustain me the through the entire winter. It tastes much like a Twix bar, but made with muesli, yogurt and dried fruit. I tell myself it's a pretty healthy meal all things considered, but I know I'm not fooling anyone.

What's your guilty pleasure meal?

gosh, my guilty pleasures are definitely not as nutritious...Kettle corn and Reese's Peanut Butter Easter Eggs! But I can go through four clementines in a few minutes too, no prob...

Carmen, clementines are definitely not my only guilty pleasures. Mostly chocolate, potatoes and bacon. Have you tried the kettle corn from Popcorn Indiana?

Ha, chocolate, potatoes, and bacon..the truth comes out. Definitely add bacon to my list of guilty pleasures too! I have tried the popcorn from Popcorn Indiana and it is delish..a bit expensivo, but still delish! When I'm in an indulgent mood, I'll make some kettle corn on the stovetop..Especially rainy, cold days when I have a good movie to watch!

Even worse, I meant to say fried potatoes, shoestring fries in particular. And an occasional 4-napkin burger.

Yeah, that Popcorn Indiana place is making a killing. You should market your own, Carmen! How do you make it, or is it a secret recipe? I recently read about someone using duck fat on their popcorn. Apparently it's amazing.
